Getting your baby pictures done
I knew that my baby was cute – what parent doesn’t feel that way? Still, as I got back the baby shower pictures, I made up pretty surprised. That was one precious, photogenic kid in my view. The 1st few baby pictures that we had taken – the ones by Julie right afterward the delivery – appeared like all newborn babies look.
She had an pinched, scrunched up, red face, and was strange, pudgy, and wrinkly all over. After a couple of workweeks, however, she had transformed pretty a great deal completely. She appeared very unlike from how she had at first. She even had a little bit of hair beginning to grow in on her head!
While one of my friends first advised that we enter her in a baby picture contest, I wasn’t thrilled on the idea right at the start. After all, I did not want her to be one of those over-pressured child actor kids who end up not being able to live a normal childhood. Still, I had to admit that the baby pictures did look very good and, with a visit to a professional baby photographer, they could look even better. It seemed like it was worth a try.
As we attended the photographer’s agency for the first time, we got to truly catch a glimpse at her work. There were baby pictures all over the wall, and in every nooks and crannies. There were cute baby pictures, ones that appeared more sedate and serious, and even a few abstract studies in form that involved babies in them. It was clear right away that this woman knew her business, and really had quite a passion for babies.
Unluckily, getting your baby pictures done could represent sort of a hit or miss proposition – particularly on an newborn baby. If she is not in the mood for it that day, that is it. There is no reasoning with a kid that small. Anyway, that day was a waste. None of the baby pictures really came out all that well, and after only all but five minutes by shooting, we’d to go.
She was hungry and demanded to be fed, and appeared pretty sleepy-eyed and bad-tempered as well. The next time we went, nevertheless, was complete gold. We’d some of the most gorgeous, well-put-together pictures of babies I had ever seen! I am trying not to get my desires up too high, but I bet we can win that competition.
